I just picked up snowboarding this past season and decided to buy my own gear. After trying on a variety of demo boots, I decided on a BOA lacing system. These fit the bill well. Pretty comfortable, easy to "lace" up. They can loosen a little after a few runs, but obviously, just twist a little more, and you're good to go. -- Great upgrade from gross rental boots
