this is great for someone who is a big fan of basketball and poker. the set comes with everything you could possibly need for poker nights every week. plus, the free shipping only makes it the greatest! the packaging it comes in ensures that the product is handled right. i dont know anywhere else you can get a brand new nice 500 piece poker set for only 40 bucks, mailed straight to your house! -- one of the best presents to myself

This set is very nice if you've never played with real clay chips. I find them a bit slippery and hence difficult to shuffle. They have a strange weight to them, so there's an abnormal "Clank" to them when they fall. The colors are great, but I'm not a fan of the blue, as it is a bit too "sky blue" I must say that this is a great price, for this many quality chips. Last listed I saw them for $39.95 via an Amazon vendor, with free super saver shipping. I also wasn't charged tax, so there was quite a bit of icing on the cake. This set may just be your cup of tea. I ordered these because of all the positive reviews noting high quality poker chips... I was disappointed.
Chips contain little to no clay at all.
If you're a hardcore poker fanatic like me and require quality casino-like chips, this set is NOT for you.
I ordered these a long time ago and did not do enough research.

However, this chip set is great for the casual player.
Case is nice and sturdy. Should last a very long time.

Also I don't know why the list price is $130. I see this set being sold everywhere for the same $40 price tag. -- Expectations were too high after reading other reviews

I have another set of the older dice designs, but needed a larger set. Purchased this one since the reviews were good and was at a good price. Did not expect them to be as good as they actually are. The chips are very nice quality, I would say that the quality is right below clay chips. The case is sturdy and made of quality, much better than the flimsy old metal case I had. The cards are also a lot better than expected, don't even need to replace the 2 decks like I had to in previous sets. The ref chip may not be a big deal to many but it is a nice little twist on the old dealer chip. Overall I would say this is the best set I have owned, received multiple compliments on the entire set, not just for the chips. -- Awesome Poker Set

Well what can I say...this is the best poker set on the market. I purchased as a gift for my cousin; the box arrived, I opened it, and I then became confused. I'm thinking to myself there is no way I can gift this excellent piece of equipment to my cousin, I have to keep this for myself, but I had already showed him the set online, and told him it was his B-Day gift...Damn...Damn...Damn, now I'm going to have to purchase an additional set, but I have to have this poker set for myself. Listen America...you won't find a beautiful set like this for the money. The NBA case alone is a gem. My wife knows nothing about poker, but like most women she can spot when something looks expensive, so she spotte this set and said "Owww baby that looks nice, is that yours" Damn...Damn...Damn...I should have never showed my cousin what I wss going to give him, and check this out, he likes it so much the Jerk won't break the set out to play it, he keeps it as a conversation piece in his house...what a Jerk. That's OK cause I'm ordering another one, and when it gets here I won't let him touch ONE NBA POKER CHIP...GO CELTICS!!! -- Bang for your Buck!!!
