I recently purchased a mountain bike for casual riding around the neighborhood and my local park. I haven't ridden a bike in about 10 years or more so many of the factors that go along with getting a bike and its parts are new to me. I'm a pretty big guy. I weigh about 350 lbs and I'm 5'11. After I rode my new bike 2 times around the block I immediately started feeling pain in my seat. I decided to try a larger bike seat from the casual male web site. It was a little better but it still produced some pain after about 10 to 20 minutes. After reading some of the reviews on this seat I decided to give it a try. One of the previous reviews mentioned that this seat was so big that its comical. It is pretty big but it actually was not as big as I was thinking it would be based on that review. In my opinion, it is more thick than it is wide. The biggest adjustment I had to make was tilting it to where I didn't feel awkward from the seat tilting to far up or slide down the seat from it tilting too far down. After a little bit of riding and adjusting it feels perfect. And I can ride on this seat for a long time without feeling any kind of pain. Yes it does look much bigger than a normal seat but if you are thinking about buying this seat I'm sure your focus is not on how pretty you look on your bike. You want to feel comfortable so that you can ride and not have to stop every few minutes because of butt pain. This seat is a great buy if you are a big guy and want a seat that can hold up to long rides with no pain. I should also mention that because of the seat's thickness it will change how you pedal and this takes some getting used to since you will sit up higher on your bike than before. -- Excellent bike for big guys like me

After going through three other seats, one with bike and two after market seats, I have finally found a seat that I can ride for more than a couple of miles and not be looking for a place to get off of! I normally ride a 5 -6 mile circuit and prior to this seat, I was always experiencing a lot of painful discomfort long before ride was completed. I can now complete my ride and be as comfortable as I was when I started! Thank you very much! I am a large man, 300 lbs plus and as others have stated, it works for me too! I don't think I will be returning this seat after all. If you are a larger person and can't find a comfortable seat, give this one a try.

PS; after finally adjusting seat to correct angle, not sliding forward, I was able to ride for 10 miles with no undo discomfort. Am very pleased with product. -- Finally, a seat I can sit on!

This is the best seat I have ever used and I have tried many. It gives ample support as well as comfort and shock absorption. I weigh over 300 pounds and ride a tricycle. At the end of a ten mile cruise my bottom feels as if I could do it again, (Too bad my legs aren't ready to go yet.) This seat is large enough to allow front to back movement so you can exercise different areas of your muscle group. I highly recommend this seat. -- Super Bicycle Seat

So it's true. The saddle is huge...but you probably already knew that from reading the description. Chances are though that if you're looking into a saddle like this, you're not exactly on the slender side. (Maybe you're heavy set, maybe you're just large-framed) If you set a tiny person on this saddle, it might appear unnecessary and strange, but for one of the above mentioned people- It looks suitable. What looks 'funnier', a saddle that fits a person's size, or one that's far too small? I personally didn't end up keeping this saddle because I didn't need it after all, but I totally would have otherwise. I've never felt a bike seat more comfortable in my life, and chances are I won't again. -- Super Comfy
